Life in an Evil World – Eccl. 8
The world can seem like a pretty depraved place at times. In fact, some days it seems like there is no end to the evil. But how do we react to that? How do we Christians live in a world that is so evil and corrupt? We constantly have to walk that fine line between pleasing God and getting along in a world that hates us.
What we are experiencing in 2022 is not new. Our modern world is not unique. Fortunately, Scripture tells us exactly what do do. We’ll see a little bit of what it says in Eccl. 8. What we talk about in today’s text might fly in the face of what the modern Church considers conventional wisdom, but given the choice, I’ll always go with what Scripture says.
