We have spent the last three weeks discussing the idea of being made free by the truth. Those studies were pretty heavy from a theological standpoint. By comparison, today’s study is pretty light. BUT it’s no less important. It’s no less life-changing either.
Today we will look at a simple act of faith that led to something with huge eternal consequences. We’ll also see what preceded that act of faith: belief. Belief is the precursor to faith. One cannot act in faith without first believing. As we study today, ask yourself how often you doubt God as opposed to believing him. I suspect that most of us (me included) could do better in the belief department.
